Urging young Canadians to say no to smoking

Leroy's family has been decimated by smoking. His mother, father and brother all died from smoking-related illnesses. Now, Leroy, a throat cancer survivor and Society volunteer who must use a voice prosthesis to speak, uses his story to warn kids about the dangers of smoking and why they should never start.

You may recognize Leroy. His photograph is currently featured on cigarette package warning labels. And Leroy recently played a key role in helping us convince the Manitoba government to quintuple its investment in anti-tobacco initiatives.
